Everton beat West Ham United 4-0 at Goodison Park last night.
Ross Barkley has finally broken his Twitter silence, after praising Everton’s Wayne Rooney’s hat-trick goal.
Barkley has not posted on social media since October, with the 23-year-old keeping a low profile.
However, Barkley could not resist praising Rooney, after the veteran Everton man turned in a wonderful performance last night.

Rooney scored a hat-trick, as Everton beat West Ham United 4-0 at Goodison Park.
Rooney first scored with his head, after missing a penalty, and he then finished well from a Jonjo Kenny cross.
It was Rooney’s third goal which took the headlines though, as England’s record scorer took aim from inside his own half and blasted the ball beyond stranded West Ham goalkeeper Joe Hart.
Rooney showed great technique to successfully pull off the shot, and Barkley could not help but praise his Everton teammate.
Barkley’s message was greeted with hundreds of responses from Everton fans, who were all keen to see him pen a new deal at Goodison Park.
