The Tottenham defender is continuing to build up his fitness after recovering from injury.

After being left out of the squad for the defeat to Arsenal at the weekend, Danny Rose completed 90 minutes and produced an encouraging performance as Tottenham Hotspur overcame Borussia Dortmund with a 2-1 victory in the Champions League last night.
Rose impressed with his bursting runs forward, especially in the second half, and delivered some dangerous crosses as he provided a reminder of the attacking threat that he can provide.

It has been a difficult time for Rose, who is evidently still building up his fitness after a lengthy injury lay-off, but the England international is eager to return to his superb form of last season.
Rose had some difficult moments in the first half against Dortmund but he improved as the game went on and will hope now that it won’t be long before he is able to regain his regular place in the starting line-up from Ben Davies.

Davies has been excellent this season, with the Welshman composed at the back and also providing a threat going forwards.
However, Rose, when at his sharpest, has an extra edge about him and he surely won’t have to wait too much longer before becoming the first-choice option at left wing-back for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
