Leeds United attacker Kemar Roofe has told The Football League Paper that he thinks Eunan O’Kane will be a ‘very good’ manager in the future.
Roofe, 23, joined Leeds from Oxford United over the summer, with BBC Sport claiming that the Whites paid £3m to lure the forward to Elland Road.
The former West Bromwich Albion youngster smashed 26 goals in 48 games for Oxford in all competitions last seasons, but has yet to find the net for Leeds having played a different role in Garry Monk’s side, doing more defensive work.
Ahead of this weekend’s game against local rivals Rotherham United, Roofe has spoken to The Football League Paper about some of his team-mates, answering a number of questions on his fellow Leeds stars.
Roofe was asked which of his Leeds team-mates is most likely to make a good manager, and he went with fellow summer signing Eunan O’Kane.

The Irish midfielder has become a key player for Monk since arriving from Bournemouth on deadline day in August, and Roofe thinks his intelligence and experience will help him become a manager after his playing days are over.
“Eunan O’Kane will be very good because he’s an intelligent footballer and knows the game inside out,” said Roofe. “He’s got a lot of experience even though he still has many years of his playing career left. He’s got a good football brain.”

Roofe also commented on which Leeds team-mate is the teacher’s pet at Elland Road, and he chose another summer signing in Kyle Bartley, who is currently on loan from Swansea City.
Roofe noted that Bartley has a strong relationship with the coaches at the club, joking that information goes to the centre back before the rest of the team.
“I’d say Kyle Bartley. He’s got a very good relationship with the coaches because he worked with them at Swansea, so they’ve known him for a long time. A lot of information goes to him first before it goes to the rest of the team,” he added.
