Leeds United’s Ronaldo Vieira has been missing for three games and counting.

Ronaldo Vieira has intimated on Instagram and Twitter that he is close to a return for Leeds United.
The 19-year-old midfielder has missed Leeds’ last three games in all competitions – two defeats, one draw – with a knee injury.
United visit Ipswich Town tomorrow and Thomas Christiansen has received a double blow in regards to his team selection.

Right-back Luke Ayling has been ruled out for the season with an ankle problem, while Samu Saiz has been slapped with a six-match ban after accepting a charge of spitting toward the end of the Whites’ shock 2-1 defeat at Newport County in the FA Cup.
Christiansen also has Caleb Ekuban and Stuart Dallas on the sidelines, but Vieira has suggested on social media that the Leeds boss can start using him again “soon”.
It might not be a coincidence that Leeds are showing worrying signs of another slump at the same time that Vieira has been missing.
The teenage midfielder makes a big difference to United both in terms of defence and attack and the sooner he’s back, the better.
Christiansen will speak to the media today ahead of the Whites’ trip to Portman Road, so it’ll be interesting to see what he has to say on Vieira’s fitness.
