Leeds United midfielder Ronaldo Vieira has admitted to the club’s official website that he did not expect to feature as much as he has in the first team so far this season.
Vieira has been on the books of Leeds since 2015 and is a very talented young midfielder.
The 18-year-old has played 10 times in the Championship for the Whites so far this campaign and has looked quite impressive.

Vieira has admitted that he did not expect to play as many times as he has for Leeds so far this season.
The youngster has also underlined the need to keep on going and to work hard.
“For me individually it has been a great season so far, I didn’t expect to be involved with the first team as much as I have been, I just have to keep working and building on performances,” Vieira told Leeds’s official website.

Leeds are doing quite well in the Championship at the moment and are in the running for a place in the playoffs.
Garry Monk’s side are currently sixth in the league table with 26 points from 16 matches.
The West Yorkshire outfit will return to action this coming Sunday afternoon when they take on league leaders Newcastle United at Elland Road in the Championship.
Newcastle will fancy their chances of picking up all three points from the encounter, but Leeds will head into the game with confidence.
