The youngsters could one day be turning out together for Leeds United.
Leeds United midfielder Ronaldo Vieira has been speaking to the Yorkshire Post about the prospect of his twin brother Romario joining him in the first-team set-up at Elland Road.
The latter has recently signed a professional deal at Leeds and fans are excited to see if he is as good as his sibling.
“He’s been doing well and we’ll see what happens,” Ronaldo said of Romario, but for now all eyes are on the former given his superb recent form.
Norwich City in particular will be glad to see the back of the 18-year-old after he scored the winning penalty in the recent EFL Cup shootout before coming off the bench to net a last-gasp winner in the league on Saturday.
Despite the strength in depth in the centre of the park at Leeds this season, Ronaldo Vieira has stood out and it will be interesting to see what happens when manager Garry Monk has a clean bill of health, with Liam Bridcutt set to return after the latest international break.
That means Romario will have to do something exceptional for the under-23s to get the call any time soon. But for now he will simply be hoping to work hard and ultimately follow in the footsteps of his brother.
