Lewis Baker joined Leeds United on a season-long loan last week.

Ronaldo Vieira has told The Yorkshire Evening Post that he is delighted with Leeds United’s capture of Lewis Baker, whom he describes as a “great player”.
Leeds signed the Chelsea-owned midfielder on a season-long loan deal last week.
In doing so, the Whites have fattened up their central midfield options, with Baker, Vieira, Adam Forshaw, Kalvin Phillips, Eunan O’Kane and Mateusz Klich representing fierce competition for places in United’s best XI under Marcelo Bielsa next season.
Nevertheless, Vieira is chuffed with the addition of the 23-year-old, who he claims represents an “unbelievable” signing.

He told The Yorkshire Evening Post: “He’s been unbelievable. Lewis is a good guy and as soon as he walked in all the boys were welcoming with him and talking to him.
“Where we have been staying we have been doing stuff together and it’s been a great addition to the team I think. He’s a great player.”
Crucially for Leeds, Baker, who spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, has Championship experience and that will serve him well during the 2018-19 campaign.
The Luton-born star remains as United’s only recruit this summer and fans of the Elland Road club will be desperate to see a flurry of additional signings over the coming weeks.
