Everton brought Steve Walsh in to oversee their transfers last summer.
Ronald Koeman has told the Liverpool Echo that he already has a fantastic relationship with Everton director of football Steve Walsh.
Walsh was brought to Everton from Leicester City last summer, and his scouting prowess has already been shown.
Everton spent well during the previous transfer window, and Koeman insists he enjoys working with Walsh already.
“At Everton we have Steve Walsh in charge of this now and I have a great working relationship with him,” the Dutch boss said.
“Like most coaches on the continent I have been amazed by the way football managers in England operate.
“I have always thought that it was impossible for this to carry on without wrong going.”
Everton’s additions of Yannick Bolasie and Idrissa Gueye last summer have proven to be astute buys, as they have increased the quality of Koeman’s squad.
Both Bolasie and Gueye have forced their way straight into Koeman’s starting line-up, and their performances have caught the eye during Everton’s positive start to the new campaign.
Everton have lost just once so far this term, and they currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League table.
Everton are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor.
