Everton play host to Sunderland tomorrow in the Premier League and will square up against two familiar faces.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman spoke to the media during his pre-match press conference, ahead of his side’s clash with the Black Cats tomorrow, and shared how he believes Bryan Oviedo and Darron Gibson made good choices when they left Goodison Park for the Stadium of Light in January, as quoted by the Daily Mail.
The duo joined David Moyes’ men towards the end of last month’s transfer window, after being deemed surplus to requirements on Merseyside.
And Koeman, who has made noticeable changes to his playing staff since his arrival at the club in the summer, told reporters how Gibson and Oviedo made the move to Wearside in the search of more playing time, as quoted by the Daily Mail:

‘It’s always special for the players. They (Gibson and Oviedo) went to Sunderland to get more game time, that was a good choice by both players.”
The Dutchman has led his side to seventh in the Premier League table, and they are currently in the midst of a superb run of form that has seen them win four and draw two of their last six league games.
The now sit just nine points adrift of fourth placed Arsenal, and a late run for the Champions League spots is not entirely out of the question, however unrealistic that may seem at present.
Five of their next eight league games are at Goodison Park, although their three away matches during that period are against Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester United respectively.
But if they can maintain their high performances levels, who knows how far Koeman will be able to take his side this season.
