Everton are set to take on Norwich City in the EFL Cup third round this evening.

Ronald Koeman has told Everton’s official Facebook page that he will make changes, ahead of his side’s match against Norwich City in the League Cup.

Everton are the heavy favourites to win at Goodison Park tonight, after their unbeaten start to the season.

The Toffees are currently in second place in the Premier League, but Koeman insists that he does not see the EFL Cup as a distraction.

Instead, the Dutch boss wants to win the trophy, and he insists that he will be putting out a strong team against Norwich this evening.

“We take it seriously,” Koeman said. “Normally, we will do some changes, but everyone who starts tomorrow is an Everton player. They are training hard to get an opportunity to play, and we start tomorrow with a strong team.”

Everton go into the match on the back of a 3-1 victory over Middlesbrough in their last match.

The Toffees will be without their main striker Romelu Lukaku, though, after he picked up a knock after scoring against Boro.

“Romelu is not available,” Koeman confirmed. “Only he is not available. He is available for the weekend.”

Despite Everton’s fine start, Norwich will travel to Merseyside full of confidence too.

The Canaries are currently in second place in the Championship, after making a highly impressive start to the campaign.
