Everton were beaten 2-0 by Norwich City in the EFL Cup yesterday evening.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has bemoaned his side’s lack of ruthlessness during their EFL Cup match against Norwich City yesterday.
Everton were subjected to a shock 2-0 defeat against the Championship side in front of their own fans at Goodison Park.
The Toffees failed to reach their peak performance levels during the match, but they still had some good chances.
However, Everton failed to take their opportunities and Norwich made them pay.
The Canaries scored through Steven Naismith and Josh Murphy, and Koeman admitted his disappointment about the result after the match.
This was Everton’s first loss of the season, and they will now be under pressure to bounce back.
The Toffees have started their Premier League campaign in fine fashion, and currently sit in second place in the table.
Everton’s next match comes against Bournemouth at the weekend, while Norwich take on Burton Albion.
