Everton manager Koeman has praised his players for the commitment they showed in the match.
On paper, Everton have a much better team than Burnley and they should have picked up all three points from this afternoon’s match.
The Clarets, though, deservedly won the game, and Koeman now has to analyse what went wrong.
Everton were expected to push for a top-six finish in the Premier League this season, but things are looking bleak for them at the moment.
It would not be foolish to suggest that given their current performances, the Toffees could struggle to finish seventh again this season.
