The Toffees’ disappointing run of form continued, as they lost 5-2 to Arsenal at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

Although the Merseyside outfit took the lead after just 12 minutes through forward Wayne Rooney, the Gunners launched a comeback and picked up all three points from the encounter.
The Toffees also ended the game with 10 men due to the dismissal of Idrissa Gueye midway through the second half.
Everton manager Koeman has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s defeat to Arsenal, with the club’s fans responding to his message on the social networking site quite angrily.

Everton are now in the Premier League relegation zone, and for a club that was aspiring to challenge for the top four, it is simply not good enough.
Koeman is under pressure now, and it will be interesting to see what the Everton chiefs do regarding the Dutchman’s future at Goodison Park.
