Everton are expected to be active in the January transfer window.
Ronald Koeman has refused to give any clues about players Everton are interested in at his press conference earlier today, which was broadcast by the club’s official Periscope channel.
Koeman was quizzed over Everton’s January plans, and he confirmed that his side were already making moves ahead of the transfer window reopening.
However, the Dutch boss was keen to avoid naming which players Everton held an interest in.
“I’m not here to mention names of players about our interest,” Koeman said, when asked for clues about who Everton were targeting.
“Some names are true, are some names are not true. That’s all part of the speculation. One time it’s possible, but most of the time it’s bulls***.”
Everton are expected to invest heavily in January, with Farhad Moshiri keen to provide the Toffees with more funds.
The Merseyside club were fairly restrained with their spending last summer – with only four new players arriving.
Everton have had a rather middling campaign so far, and currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League table.
The Toffees are next in action on 30th December, when they take on struggling Hull City at the KC Stadium.
