Swansea City star Gylfi Sigurdsson is reportedly wanted by Everton in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that the Toffees are willing to smash their transfer record in order to secure the services of the former Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder.

Everton manager Koeman has stated that the deal to sign Sigurdsson is close, with The Mirror (Transfer news LIVE blog, 18:08, August 6, 2017) claiming that the Swans want around £50 million for the 27-year-old.
“It is close but we have to wait,” Koeman told The Mirror (Transfer news LIVE blog, 18:08, August 6, 2017) when asked about Sigurdsson. “The deal isn’t done.”

Sigurdsson is a very good attacking midfielder, and the Iceland international would be a stunning signing for Everton.
The Toffees have signed some wonderful players, such as Sandro Ramirez, Wayne Rooney and Michael Keane, so far in the summer transfer window, and adding Sigurdsson to the squad would only enhance their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League this season.
