Ronald Koeman has refused to comment when asked about Everton’s reported interest in Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Sandro.

Everton have been persistently linked with Pickford for many months now, with the goalkeeper believed to be on Koeman’s wishlist.

Klaassen, meanwhile, has emerged as a £21 million target for the Toffees, according to the Daily Mail.

Koeman also was spotted at a Malaga match recently, with suggestions that he was tracking Sandro.

But when asked if Everton were interested in any of the trio, Koeman kept his cards close to his chest.

He said: “I don’t say anything about that. I don’t like to speak about players, or the interest we have in several players.

“I know I was in the picture in Malaga’s stadium. I can’t say I was there. But that happens that I have a famous face and they find me in all the places…”

When pushed further on his trip to Malaga’s match against Celta Vigo, Koeman suggested that he could have been assessing more than one player.

“That’s possible [that he was looking at more than one player],” the Dutch boss added.

Everton are expected to have a significant amount of funds to invest over the summer, with Bill Kenwright recently suggesting Farhad Moshiri will be backing the Dutch boss.

The Toffees have been linked with a whole host of players already, with additions already being plotted.

Everton could also lose some key players, with Ross Barkley’s and Romelu Lukaku’s futures both in some considerable doubt.
