Ronald Koeman’s side were totally outplayed by Tottenham Hotspur today.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman spoke to reporters during the aftermath of his side’s 3-2 defeat to Spurs today and delivered his verdict on the north London outfit’s Premier League title hopes, as quoted by the Daily Star.
Tottenham were on fire today, racking up their ninth consecutive Premier League win in a row at White Hart Lane, and currently sit in second position in the table, just seven points adrift of league leaders Chelsea – who have to wait until tomorrow night before they take on West Ham United.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men were better than Everton in every department today, and Koeman discussed their title hopes, when speaking to reporters, suggesting that it will still be incredibly hard for them to catch Antonio Conte’s men, as quoted by the Daily Star:
“I think Tottenham are really strong. It’s a difficult system to play against – Chelsea are playing out of the same system. It will be very difficult with the distance in points. I think Chelsea are too strong for the rest.”

The Lilywhites do have one major advantage over the clubs in and around them in the table – the fact that they have played every side currently inside the top half of the league away from home.
Although Chelsea seem to be out of reach at the moment, there is still a very long way to go, and with the likes of Harry Kane and Dele Alli firing on all cylinders, they cannot be ruled out of contention just yet.
