Everton manager Ronald Koeman has reacted on Twitter to his side’s draw with Crystal Palace.

The Blues hosted Alan Pardew’s side at Goodison Park on Friday evening looking to bounce back from last weekend’s disappointing loss to Bournemouth.

They were unable to do that, though, as the two sides played out an eventual 1-1 draw.

Everton took the lead in the game courtesy of a superb free-kick from Romelu Lukaku, but Christian Benteke levelled the scores with a commanding header in the second half.

In truth, the Eagles could have come away with all three points as they largely dominated the second half.

Despite the draw, Koeman was in positive mood after the game when he reacted on Twitter.

The post was slightly baffling, given the abject display his side put in the second half, with goalkeeper Steve Mandanda untested throughout.

And Everton’s fans were quick to let their manager know how they felt about the game as they converged on his tweet.

The draw sees Everton move up to third in the table before the weekend’s other games, with 14 points from their first seven games.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, remain in seventh in the table with 11 points after extending their unbeaten run to four games.
