Everton are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table.
Ronald Koeman has told the Daily Mail that Everton will need to have a very strong end to the campaign, if they can class this season as a special one.
Everton looked destined to be competing for seventh spot in the Premier League table, but their strong run of recent results have suggested that they could climb higher.
Everton are currently seven points outside the top four, but many of the Champions League challenging clubs are struggling.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have all struggled for points of late – and Everton have gained ground on them all.
Koeman’s side have taken more points than any other top flight club in their last six matches.
And the Dutch boss claims that he has trained Everton to ensure that they will finish their season strongly.
“You [the media] were always speaking about top six and now you’re saying we need to talk about the first four,” Koeman said.
“Everything is possible because everybody knows the Premier League is so tough, and it’s not about the opponent you play.

“Yes, normally, my teams are always in a good state until the end of the season.
“That’s what we try to plan: you have more possibilities to win the game if the team is really fit.
“With Southampton, we won seven of the last eight – if we keep that at Everton then, yes, maybe something special will be possible this season.”
Everton are next in action later today, when they take on Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
If the Toffees win, they will move above Manchester United and into sixth place in the Premier League table.
