Everton have scored 60 goals in the Premier League so far this season.
Ronald Koeman has said at his latest press conference, which was broadcast by Everton’s Periscope channel, that he is on the hunt for more attacking players next season.
Everton were expected to prioritise signing defenders in the summer transfer window.
However, Koeman’s latest comments suggest that the Toffees will actually be on the look out for some more prolific attackers.

“We have to analyse what we need to improve next season,” Koeman said. “I think we need, offensive wise, more players who score more goals. There’s too big a difference between Lukaku and the rest of the players.”
Lukaku does sit well clear at the top of Everton’s scoring charts, after netting 25 goals so far this season.
Ross Barkley is next in the Toffees’ list of scorers, with just five strikes to his name.

As a team, Everton have not found hitting the back of the net too much of a problem though – as they have record 60 in the Premier League in 34 matches.
The Toffees’ reliance on Lukaku shows how imperative it will to keep hold of the powerful Belgian international this summer.
Lukaku has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park for some time, but Everton are believed to be determined not to allow him to leave cheaply.
