Everton are set to take on Crystal Palace on Friday evening.

Ronald Koeman has confirmed at his press conference today, which was broadcast on Everton’s official Facebook page, that Romelu Lukaku will start against Crystal Palace tomorrow.
Everton are set to host Palace on Friday evening, as they look to bounce back from their first defeat of the season.
Lukaku has damaged his ankle, but he has made it through training this week, and Koeman intends to start with the Belgian international.

“It’s still painful, but he did the sessions this week. He will start,” the Dutch boss confirmed.
Koeman also suggested that he could make changes to the Everton team which lost 1-0 against Bournemouth last weekend.
The Toffees were off the pace on the south coast, and were made to pay for their below par performance, with Junior Stanislas’ goal ending their unbeaten start to the new campaign.
“It’s possible, but it’s always possible,” Koeman suggested, when asked whether he would alter Everton’s starting line-up ahead of their match against Palace.

“You don’t need to make changes only when you lose. Maybe sometimes it’s tactical. But it was a team performance that wasn’t good in the first 45 minutes. It wasn’t one, two or three players.”
If Everton are able to beat Alan Pardew’s side tomorrow evening, they will move up to second in the Premier League table, ahead of this weekend’s action.
