Everton manager Ronald Koeman has told The Telegraph that new signing Enner Valencia will make his first start for the club against Norwich City on Tuesday.
The Toffees are in EFL Cup action on Tuesday evening, as they take on Norwich City having beaten Yeovil Town in the last round of the competition.

With four Premier League wins in a row, Everton have made a sensational start to life under new manager Ronald Koeman, dropping just two points in their first five games of the campaign.
Cup success alongside their Premier League exploits would be great for Everton, and a win over Championship side Norwich at Goodison Park is expected for the Toffees.

After Saturday’s 3-1 win over Middlesbrough, striker Romelu Lukaku is expected to be rested having picked up a slight knock – and it means that a new signing is set to start.
Just moments before the transfer deadline at the end of August, Everton swooped to take striker Enner Valencia on a season-long loan move from West Ham United, with a view to a permanent deal.
The Ecuadorian international, 26, came on as a substitute for his Everton debut against Middlesbrough on Saturday, playing just 24 minutes as he attempts to establish himself under Koeman.

Now, ahead of the game with Norwich City, manager Koeman has stated to The Telegraph that Valencia still start against the Canaries, and wants fringe players to take their chance given how Everton have kept with a similar team for many games in a row.
“Romelu is not available. He will have a rest. After two days he will be available,” said Koeman. “Enner Valencia will start. It is always an opportunity for the players who did not play too much in the last weeks because we have not changed much. I am a manager who likes to keep the same players if they are doing well,” he added.
