Everton’s performance against the Blues was very disappointing, and Koeman has admitted on Twitter that he feels sorry for the fans.
First-team fitness coach Jan Kluitenberg has also apologised to the Everton supporters on Twitter.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening, hosts Chelsea had 60% of the possession, took 21 shots of which nine were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Everton had 40% of the possession, took just one shot which was not on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
The Merseyside outfit will take on Swansea City at Goodison Park in the Premier League after the international break.
