Ronald Koeman has aggravated Everton fans with his post-match comments, following their loss to Burnley.
Everton were beaten 1-0 at home yesterday, in what was yet another disappointing defeat for the Merseyside club.
The Toffees rarely threatened after falling behind when Jeff Hendrick scored neatly for the visitors.
However, Koeman suggested that he was pleased with Everton’s performance – and that comment has not gone down well on social media website Twitter.
The pressure is growing on Koeman, with the bookies currently having him as their favourite to be the next Premier League manager sacked.
Farhad Moshiri has come out in the press today and backed Koeman, but the Dutch manager does need to find the winning formula soon.
Everton have been poor in both the Premier League and the Europa League so far this season, and fallen well short of expectations.
Everton return to action after the international break, when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium.
