Rangers are yet to appoint a new manager at Ibrox after sacking Pedro Caixinha.

The Gers are yet to replace the sacking of Pedro Caixinha at the managerial helm, with Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes widely considered as the favourite to be given the permanent role.
However, interim boss Graeme Murty’s ratio of two wins out of two while in temporary charge of the team could also see the former Reading captain given a chance to prove himself on a full-time basis.

Nevertheless, Ronald has thrown his brother’s name into the mix by stating that Frank, who also briefly played for Rangers, would certainly consider a move to Glasgow despite being linked with the Netherlands national side.
“The Dutch team will be one of Frank’s things ‘to do,’ but if a big club came knocking on the door that would be very difficult to say no to,” Ronald said.
“It would be the same with Rangers, he would think about it for sure, he had a great time there although it was a short spell.
“Rangers is a challenge, it’s a helluva task as we have seen over the last few years that there is no stopping Celtic, so it is a challenge.”

Ronald played for the Gers during a four-year spell between 2000 and 2004, helping the club win one Scottish Premiership title as well as two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups.
He was joined by his brother in his final year for a short period, where 47-year-old Frank made 23 appearances for the club in all competitions before moving to Qatar.
Ronald’s claim about his brother could hold some weight, as Frank is currently out of work after being sacked by Crystal Palace just four games in charge.
