Cristian Romero has posted on his Instagram ‘nice training session’ after the Tottenham players were put through their paces during their pre-season tour of South Korea.
Whilst the Spurs players have got more than a taste, during the recently-concluded Premier League season, of what Antonio Conte is all about.

This is the first time the players are facing the Italian’s pre-season regime, which according to some has been pretty brutal and some suggestions that the players were flat on the floor on Monday.
Whilst the Tottenham fans will be glad to see their players preparing in such brutal fashion for the forthcoming season, it’s something that hasn’t sat down with some, with Liverpool legend, Steve Nicol, calling out Conte for his actions.
Nonetheless, this is what Romero posted on his IG after going through a tough pre-season tour of Korea.
“Nice training session yesterday,” said Romero. “Thank you to all the fans for the support. We are delighted to be here.”
ROMERO A KEY PLAYER FOR CONTE
One of the standout players for, not just Tottenham last season, but in the Premier League was their hard-hitting defender, Romero.
The Argentina international has the lot to his game and he was one of the best purchases in England’s top-flight last season, which played a huge part in the club securing Champions League football.
Added with Romero, the leader at the back, Eric Dier, produced his best football since he has been at the club, whilst Ben Davies also took his game to the next level playing on the left side of a back three.
That’s the Conte effect and the new faces that have joined, such as Richarlison and Yves Bissouma, will be hoping to go down the same path.
Trying to secure Champions League football will be the aim again for the club, alongside trying to add a trophy to their name, which is something the north London club are craving.
