The Everton player is exactly what Chelsea need this summer

According to a report from the London Evening Standard, Chelsea are locked in negotiations with Everton regarding the potential transfer of Romelu Lukaku, with the Toffees refusing to budge on their £75million valuation.
That is a huge sum but with the market so inflated this summer it would be no surprise to see the Belgian international eventually leave Goodison Park for that amount.

For that to happen, Chelsea will have to change their current stance, as they are allegedly reluctant to pay more than £67million for their former player, meaning things could drag on all the way to deadline day.
While Chelsea and Everton will both be hoping to get a deal over the line before that, neither side will want to back down until they have to, and when it comes to Antonio Conte he will know the 23-year-old is worth the wait.

Chelsea need to significantly strengthen their forward line this summer and Lukaku would return to London with a point to prove, and with 61 goals in 127 matches for Everton to his name he would immediately transform the Blues’ starting XI.
Deadline day is often about panic buys and last-minute loans, but it can also see some huge deals pushed through at the death, and Chelsea should not give up on Lukaku until the transfer window slams shut once more.
