Everton’s Romelu Lukaku is set to join Manchester United.
Romelu Lukaku has taken to Instagram to send a message to Everton fans as he prepares to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Lukaku, 24, confirmed to ESPN over the weekend that he is heading to Old Trafford in a blockbuster deal, despite the fact that manager Jose Mourinho sold him at Chelsea in 2014.

The Belgian will undergo a medical ahead of a £75million switch from Everton to United, though as noted by BBC Sport, United may end up having to pay an additional £15million in add-ons over the years.
Many had expected Lukaku to be on the move this summer, and with United losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic to injury and the expiration of his contract, Lukaku will now arrive as United’s next big striker.
The move does bring an end to Lukaku’s impressive time with Everton, who he joined on loan in 2013 before completing a permanent move a year later, flourishing under Roberto Martinez and later Ronald koeman.
After 43 goals in his first three Premier League seasons for Everton, Lukaku enjoyed a remarkable campaign last season, smashing 25 Premier League goals to only finish behind Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot.
As Lukaku’s Goodison Park departure draws ever closer – just as Wayne Rooney makes the opposite move – the striker has taken to Instagram to send a message to Toffees fans.
Lukaku – as seen above – thanked everybody associated with Everton, from the fans to the staff and also his team-mates, as he seemingly signs off as a Toffees player for the final time before his move is confirmed.
