Everton defeated West Ham United 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday.
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s victory over West Ham United away from home on Saturday.
The Toffees returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over the Hammers at the Boleyn Ground.
After a goalless first half, Stewart Downing put West Ham in the lead just past the hour mark.
However, Leon Osman restored parity only minutes later, and Belgium international striker Lukaku scored the winner in the third minute of injury time when he headed home Aiden McGeady’s cross.
Following the victory, Lukaku made the following post on Twitter:
Over the course of the 90 minutes, Everton had 54% of the possession, took 21 shots of which five were on target and earned eight corners.
The Toffees are now 10th in the Premier League table with 47 points from 37 matches.
Everton’s final game of the season will be against Tottenham Hotspur at Goodison Park next Sunday.
