Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is not the only player at the club being linked with a summer exit. Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gana Gueye has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park.
The Sun reported last month that Arsenal want to sign the player whilst at the weekend the Mirror reported that Manchester United are also keen on the player.
His departure would certainly not impress Everton fans, who have been thoroughly impressed with his performances as a defensive shield this season, but Lukaku would not want to separate from the player either.
Speaking to EASPORTS.com the Belgian striker said of his team-mate:
“He’s been really good. He’s been one of the signings of the season for me, he improved the team in midfield by making so many challenges.
“He allows us to control the game a lot more which we were lacking slightly last year. He’s given us this control through his work rate, passing and his dedication. He is someone that we really need.”

Those are glowing words from the Everton striker and ones which are fair given the performances of Gueye.
His tackling, interception and passing rate have been superb in the Premier League this season and he has certainly been a surprise package considering how poor the Aston Villa team he played for last term were.
Everton have benefitted greatly from his presence in the midfield and letting him go will not be something they do easily.
