Romario Vieira was included in the Leeds United first-team squad for the first time in their latest Championship fixture.

Romario Vieira has taken to Twitter to comment after he found himself in the Leeds United first-team squad for the first time for the Championship clash with Hull City on Tuesday.
Vieira is one of a number of players who the Whites clearly have high hopes for, and many fans are looking forward to the day that Thomas Christiansen considers playing Romario alongside his twin brother and established first-team player Ronaldo Vieira in the middle of the park.

The 19-year-old has been a regular fixture in the under-23 side this season, and was rewarded for his recent form – including a brilliant performance at centre-back against Huddersfield earlier in the month – by being handed the chance to sit on the bench for the trip to the KCOM Stadium in midweek.
While the result was not ideal for Leeds – they largely had goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald to thank as they struggled to a goalless draw against the relegation-threatened Tigers – Vieira was clearly delighted to make the squad.

He took to social media after the draw to express his pride at being involved.
Given the number of injuries and suspensions that Christiansen is having to cope with right now, it is perhaps fair to assume that Vieira’s introduction into the side came slightly sooner than the Leeds boss would have liked.
But he will be hoping that now that Vieira has had a taste and glimpse of being involved with the senior side, he will find even more hunger to keep himself in Christiansen’s thoughts in the coming months.
