Hakim Ziyech could move from Chelsea to PSG on deadline day, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist claims that Ziyech has agreed to join the French champions, and PSG are now negotiating the final details of the deal with Chelsea.

Just weeks ago, the Moroccan international was reportedly offered to Tottenham in a part-exchange deal for Yves Bissouma.

However, the North London club turned down the opportunity to sign the ‘incredible’ left-footer, who has now agreed to join one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world.

Ziyech will soon be able to call Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe his teammates, and when all is said and done, he may be happy that Spurs turned down the chance to bring him in.

Ziyech has had a mixed time at Stamford Bridge, with injuries limiting his playing time and affecting his form.

However, when he’s at his best, he’s a joy to watch, as we saw at the World Cup in Qatar.

PSG will be hoping that Ziyech can rediscover the form that saw him star for Ajax in the Eredivisie and the Champions League.

While Ziyech heads to the French capital, Tottenham could still do with adding more creativity to their side.

Spurs are seemingly currently in the market for an attacking midfielder and have been linked with Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo.

Whether or not Spurs live to regret not signing Ziyech when they had the chance remains to be seen, but given that he’s going to be playing top-level football for a team like PSG going forward, one has to imagine that Spurs could end up ruing passing up on this opportunity.

As for Ziyech, his torrid time in west London appears to be coming to an end, and he’ll be hoping that he can show the world that he’s still one of the premier playmakers in Europe when he joins PSG.
