Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffSide that Everton striker Moise Kean has not been offered to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has refuted claims in the Italian media that Everton striker Kean could be on his way to Arsenal this summer.
The 22-year-old striker spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Paris Saint-Germain from Everton and the 2021-22 campaign on loan at Juventus.
There were reports in the Italian media last week linking Arsenal and West Ham with the £49,000-a-week (SalarySport) Italy international.
Arsenal and linked with Everton’s Moise Kean
Romano told CaughtOffSide: “Despite reports to the contrary, Moise Kean was not offered to Arsenal.
“The Gunners remain focused on signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City; but Kean could leave Juventus in the summer, the club is already looking for a solution.”

In our opinion, Everton striker Moise Kean is not a player that Arsenal should sign in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners need to sign a proven top-class striker with a strong goalscoring record.
Now, Kean is only 22, and given that PSG and Juventus have used him shows that he has potential.
However, we do not think that the youngster is ready to become the number one striker at Arsenal.
The Italian has scored only two goals in 32 appearances in the Premier League for Everton so far in his career.
Kean scored five goals and gave one assist in 12 Serie A starts for Juventus this season.
