Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffside that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp considers Roberto Firmino an important part of his team.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that there is nothing in the rumours linking Liverpool forward Firmino with a move to Juventus in the summer transfer window.
TuttoJuve reported over the weekend that Juventus are considering a move for Firmino – who earns £180,000 per week as salary (SalarySport) – and have made an offer of €23 million (£19.58 million).
Fabrizio Romano on Roberio Firmino from Liverpool to Juventus rumour
Romano told CaughtOffside: “So far Juventus have not approached Liverpool for Roberto Firmino.
“The situation is totally quiet – Jurgen Klopp considers him part of the project, especially because a lot of resources are needed in the World Cup season.”

Anfield stay
In our view, Liverpool should keep Roberto Firmino for next season.
Firmino had injury problems last season and is also 30 now.
And Liverpool signed Darwin Nunez this summer.
So, in our opinion, Firmino will have to fight really hard for his place in the Liverpool starting lineup next season.
Liverpool, though, are better with the Brazilian in the squad.
He gives Liverpool manager a very good option.
If Liverpool are to reclaim the Premier League title from Manchester City next season, then they need a very strong and competitive squad.
Firmino has scored 71 goals and created 63 big chances in 231 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
