Rio Ferdinand has urged Arsenal to ‘go and buy’ Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City, as he told Vibe with Five.
Italian journalist and transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, responded to Ferdinand’s claim by saying ‘good idea’.
In the summer, Arsenal may well be in a situation where they have no senior strikers at the club.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left in January, whilst both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are out-of-contract in the summer.
As a result, Ferdinand thinks Jesus from Man City is the answer to their problems.
“If I was Arsenal,” said Ferdinand. “I would go and buy Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.”

Jesus joined Manchester City in 2016 as an unknown figure from Brazilian side Palmeiras for £27 million (Sky Sports).
The 24-year-old is actually the only bonafide and senior out-and-out striker Pep Guardiola has to pick from, even though a lot is made of Man City always playing with a false nine.
But Jesus is often used in various other roles by his manager, including playing out on the right.
During his time in Manchester City colours, Jesus has scored 88 goals and supplied 43 assists from his 222 matches in all competitions.
