A reported Liverpool target could make a decision on his future within days – and we’re talking about Erling Haaland.

That is according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano took to Twitter this afternoon to claim that the Borussia Dortmund sensation, courted by Liverpool and a number of other Premier League outfits including Manchester City, hasn’t yet decided which club he’s going to join.

However, he could make his mind up imminently.

Here’s what Romano posted on Twitter:

How Liverpool supporters would absolutely love the big Norway international at Anfield.

Salah partnership

According to The Daily Star, the Merseysiders are among those interested in signing him – particularly Mohamed Salah.

Sky Germany reported earlier in 2022 that Salah is desperate to have Haaland as a teammate and what a frightening prospect that would prove to be.

Haaland is quite possibly the most lethal number nine in world football right now and with an attacking talent like Salah to his right, well suffice to say Liverpool would be unstoppable up front.

However, a transfer do Jurgen Klopp’s outfit doesn’t make a massive amount of sense right now.

Diogo Jota is only 25 and more than good enough to be the Reds’ number nine for the foreseeable future so, even if Haaland does want a move to Liverpool, it might not be mutual.
