Tottenham Hotspur are showing an interest in Xavi Simons having asked to be kept informed on the PSV Eindhoven star’s future.
Xavi Simons is on the radar of North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur amid questions over his future.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Simons could be on the move this summer.
The PSV Eindhoven sensation joined from Paris Saint-Germain last summer but the French giants hold a buy-back clause.
Romano claims that the value of that clause is just €6million (£5.15million) and PSG can activate it any time between July 1st and 31st.
Simons is now waiting to hear from PSG as he considers the next step for his future.
PSG may be tempted to bring Simons back and bring him into their squad, or even bring him back on the cheap and sell him for big money.
If PSG go down that route – or ignore their clause altogether – then Romano claims that Manchester Utd, Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are keen.
Romano states that all six clubs have asked to be kept informed about Simons’ future with all of them eyeing a major signing.

Who is Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur target Xavi Simons?
Simons has been tipped for stardom for a long, long time now having been in the Barcelona ranks from the age of just seven.
The Dutchman became one of the most in-demand talents in the world and did eventually leave Barca in 2019, completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Simons continued to show promise in the PSG ranks but was only given 11 first-team appearances.
What a familiar tale this has become; PSG have lost the likes of Mike Maignan and Christopher Nkunku, Moussa Diaby in recent times after limited first-team chances.

Simons decided to move on last summer, joining PSV in search of senior action – and the decision has really paid off.
The 20-year-old racked up 22 goals and 12 assists in a stunning campaign for PSV, playing predominantly as a number 10 but also on the flanks at times.
Hailed as ‘really fantastic’ by Johan Boskamp, Simons seems to have the potential to become an absolute superstar in the coming years.
You can certainly understand why Arsenal and Tottenham want Simons, but it’s all in PSG’s hands right now as they consider dragging him back to Paris.
