Romaine Mundle will now leave Tottenham Hotspur and follow Yaya Toure to Standard Liege in Belgium this summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are set to lose talented youngster Romaine Mundle as he prepares to sign for Standard Liege.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Mundle has chosen Standard as his next destination.
Mundle’s contract expires this summer and he has already decided to leave Tottenham for a new challenge.
Football London noted in April that Premier League clubs wanted to sign Mundle but he is instead heading for Belgium.
Romano claims that an agreement has been reached for Mundle to sign a four-year deal with Standard.
A medical has already been done and Mundle is on the verge of being presented as a new Standard player.
Romano adds that Tottenham will receive compensation for Mundle as he prepares to embark on a European adventure.

Mundle was a regular in Premier League 2 this past season, bagging seven goals and five assists in 24 games.
The 20-year-old winger has shown himself to be an exciting talent and is now on his way out of Tottenham.
This move means that Mundle is following Yaya Toure from Tottenham to Standard.
The Ivorian was an Under-16 coach at Tottenham this past season and has now become Standard assistant boss after the appointment of Carl Hoefkens.
Standard were already in the mix to sign Mundle anyway but Toure’s move may have put the seal on the decision.
Mundle and Toure may know each other from the Tottenham academy setup and will now join forces in Belgium.
Mundle will hope to kick on and become a star in Europe, just like fellow winger and ex-Spurs talent Noni Madueke did after leaving Tottenham.
