Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has attached his trademark ‘here we go’ catchprase to Andre Ayew, who was linked with a switch to Everton ultimately signing for Nottingham Forest.
Recently, it was reported by 90 Min that Sean Dyche’s side were keen on a move for the Ghanaian international.
However, Greek journalist Giannis Chorianopoulos had claimed that Steve Cooper’s men were indeed favourites to land the Al-Sadd striker.
Fabrizio Romano says Everton target Andre Ayew has joined Nottingham Forest
Now, it seems the suspicions about Nottingham Forest being best-placed to sign Everton-linked forward Andre Ayew are true as Fabrizio Romano has reported that the ageing frontman has signed for Steve Cooper’s side.

It was widely known that the 33-year-old had touched down in England to discuss his next move, which seems to be geared towards playing at the County Ground.
Ultimately, this is huge news for Nottingham Forest, as Fabrizio Romano has given his ‘here we go’ confirmation regarding Andre Ayew being reunited with Steve Cooper, who called him a ‘big player’ (via News Chain) in the past during the pair’s time together at Swansea.
Big blow for Everton
It’s safe to say that the Toffees perhaps need a brand-new striker much more than Cooper and Co, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin not at his very best and the side having scored the least number of goals in the Premier League so far (15).
Nottingham Forest, who have now landed Everton target Andre Ayew, as Romano reports already have solid, if not spectacular goalscoring options in Taiwo Awoniy and Brennan Johnson.
In addition, Forest are placed 13th in the league table, while the Merseyside-club are 19th and seem almost destined for relegation.
With Sean Dyche only recently coming in to replace Frank Lampard, this latest update does not help their case in any way.
