Tottenham Hotspur have snapped up Radu Dragusin and international teammate Florinel Coman has praised his move to North London.
Tottenham managed to get their first January signing done without much fuss as Timo Werner came in on loan from RB Leipzig.
Their second signing was a little more dramatic as Tottenham avoided being hijacked for the signature of Genoa defender Radu Dragusin.
Bayern Munich made late moves to ruin Tottenham’s move for Dragusin and Spurs fans would have feared the worst when the German giants moved in.
Dragusin picked Tottenham though and completed his move to North London late last week with HITC Football understanding that the fee was around £26million.
Radu Dragusin praised after securing Tottenham Hotspur move
Dragusin was named on the bench against Manchester United on Sunday and came on late in the game to help Spurs see out a 2-2 draw.
The Romanian faces a real battle to get into the side with both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven back from injury.
Their exceptional partnership has now been reunited and Dragusin may face a spell on the bench to start his Tottenham career.
Dragusin’s move continues to make big headlines in Romania and his international teammates are now having their say.
FCSB winger Florinel Coman has now spoken to Digisport having seen Dragusin secure a big Premier League transfer.

Coman believes that the move is ‘super’ and feels that Dragusin really deserves this moment because of how hard he works.
Coman feels that Dragusin trains ‘impeccably’ and shows both maturity and mental strength in his game.
“Super. I was extremely happy for him, because I know how much he works, I know how much he dedicates himself. He is a consummate professional, he trains impeccably, he is mature, he is mentally strong,” said Coman.
Tottenham will hope to see that excellence in training; that is the best way to catch Ange Postecoglou’s eye and put pressure on both Romero and Van de Ven.
Dragusin’s talent has been on show in Italy and this approval of his personality and character will leave Tottenham fans very excited.
It’s now down to Dragusin; a move to the Premier League doesn’t mean that he has ‘made it’, and he must continue to work hard after securing his move to Spurs.
