Roman Reigns is very much the top dog in WWE these days but the emerging Oba Femi will be looking to topple him at some point down the line.
Reigns has sat on top of the pile for over a decade now while his ‘Tribal Chief’ character in the last five years has been one of the greatest we’ve ever seen.
Currently sitting with the WWE title around his waist, Reigns appeared at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend alongside Jalen Brunson to build up to his big match with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
However, down the line, there is the mouthwatering prospect of Reigns going head to head with Oba Femi.
‘Oba’ has burst onto the scene in WWE and is very much getting the proverbial rocket strapped to his back.
Now, Reigns has commented on a potential meeting with ‘The Ruler’.
Roman Reigns claims Oba Femi still needs to prove himself in WWE
Despite years and years of Reigns not quite making it how WWE wanted him to, he has hit the nail on the head in portraying the Tribal Chief.
He’s obviously still the number one superstar in the company and while Oba Femi is blazing his own trail, Reigns has suggested Femi has some way to go.

“I just said Oba’s very new, and Oba’s got a lot of work to do. Me, I’m consistent and as tested as they come, so you already know what it is; I’m going to be there,” Reigns said at Fanatics Fest.
“The question is, can Oba make it all the way through? Can he find his way through the wilderness and find his way to the championship destination?”
The idea of seeing Reigns v Oba Femi at some point is a tantalising prospect for many WWE fans.
Crucially though, there is no need to rush it either. There are enough big name superstars right now for Femi to keep doing his thing away from the title scene.
Eventually, he will be thrust into that spotlight. And when he is, we’ll have to hope that Reigns is still going strong to face him.
