Roma reportedly ready to listen over Alisson, some Liverpool fans react

Roma are reportedly ready to listen over Liverpool target Alisson.

Liverpool have been given fresh hope over transfer target Alisson.

Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio reports Roma are ready to listen to offers for the Brazil international, and have their eye on replacements.

Alisson is Roma’s first choice goalkeeper and has been linked to Liverpool throughout 2018.

The Times reported earlier this summer that Alisson is Liverpool’s top goalkeeping target.

The Reds need a new goalkeeper with Loris Karius’ Champions League final mistakes following on into pre-season form.

Di Marzio reports Roma will hold talks with Alisson’s agent today.

It adds that no formal bids have been received by Roma, although they have had expressions of interest.

Roma are claimed to be keen on signing France and PSG goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, and Copenhagen and Sweden stopper Robin Olsen.

Liverpool’s interest in Alisson is referenced in the report, along with Chelsea’s.

Reds fans are desperate for a new face in goal, and Alisson would be a big upgrade on Karius.
