Newcastle United-owned Sheffield Wednesday winger Rolando Aarons has taken to Twitter to express his delight at making his debut on Saturday afternoon.
Aarons, who joined Wednesday on loan from Premier League club Newcastle on January transfer deadline day, featured for the Owls in their Championship game against Ipswich Town away from home at Portman Road.
The 23-year-old winger did not start the match, but he came on as a substitute in the 86th minute, as the Owls won 1-0.
The former England Under-20 international has taken to Twitter to revel in the win, with some Wednesday fans responding to his message on the social networking site.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Portman Road on Saturday afternoon, visitors Wednesday had 48% of the possession, took 17 shots of which three were on target, and earned two corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win against Ipswich mean that Wednesday are now16th in the Championship table with 38 points from 29 matches.
The Owls will return to action next weekend when they take on Reading at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship.
