Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his disappointment at his side’s failure to win against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday evening.

Premier League club Newcastle suffered a 3-2 extra-time defeat to Championship outfit Forest at St. James’ Park in the second round of the EFL Cup.

The tie finished 2-2 after 90 minutes, with Tyler Walker scoring in the 97th minute of the game to guide the visiting Reds to the third round of the competition.

Aarons featured in the match for Newcastle, scoring the Magpies’ second goal in first-half injury time.

The 21-year-old winger has taken to Twitter to express his disappointment at the defeat for Rafael Benitez’s side.

The defeat to Forest at St. James’ Park will have come as a huge disappointment for the Newcastle fans, who must be worried about their side already.

The Magpies have made a disappointing start to the 2017-18 Premier League campaign, and there is a danger of them going down to the Championship at the end of the season.
