Rafael Benitez has reportedly met with Rolando Aarons to ensure the winger of his place at Newcastle United.

According to a report in the Chronicle, Rolando Aarons has been assured by Rafael Benitez that he is part of his plans at Newcastle United.
Aarons has had a limited impact at Newcastle in the last few seasons, due to a succession of injury problems.
The wide-man made just five appearances this past season, with a foot problem plaguing him.

Aarons is now expected to be fit for next campaign, as Newcastle look to compete back in the Premier League.
The youngster is said to be a key part of Benitez’s plans, even if he hasn’t been in action much.
And Aarons is desperate to impress at Newcastle, as he feels so at home at St. James’ Park.
“I have been here for five years now,” Aarons said.

“I feel like a Geordie.
“I am happy here and I just want to work hard for this club.
“I really want to do well for Newcastle United.”
Aarons is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects at Newcastle, but he is reaching an age where he needs to put together a run of appearances.
If Aarons does return, it will improve Newcastle’s attacking options considerably for next term.
