Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons has joined Wycombe Wanderers on loan for the season.

Aarons was given a chance at Newcastle over pre-season by Steve Bruce, but he was ultimately not included on their squad list for the Premier League season.
Aarons did not want to simply sit around at St. James’ Park for another season.
And the Jamaican winger admits that when Wycombe came in for him his mind was made up to leave Newcastle fairly quickly.
“The situation I found myself in…It wasn’t difficult to make this decision,” he said.
“It was either to stay in England, to stay in the public eye, or go abroad.
“After a few days I decided it would probably be better for me to stay in England.”
Aarons drop into League One with Wycombe has come as a surprise to many.

The trickster had impressed in the Championship last season with Sheffield Wednesday, and should have the ability to be a stand out player in the third tier.
It seems that Aarons’s time at Newcastle is coming to an end, even if he does impress at Wycombe.
The wide-man will be 24 when he does return to Newcastle at the end of his loan, and it’s almost certain that he will be moved on permanently next summer.
