Tottenham suffered a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool at the Wembley Stadium in London in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Georginio Wijnaldum and Roberto Firmino were the goalscorers for the Reds, while Spurs found the target in the third minute of injury time through Erik Lamela.
Former Tottenham attacking midfielder Ricketts was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the performances of Liverpool and Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Ex-Liverpool star John Arne Riise has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the performance of Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday afternoon, hosts Tottenham had 60% of the possession, took 11 shots of which three were on target, and earned five corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Liverpool had 40% of the possession, took 17 shots of which 10 were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
