Leeds United face Southampton on Saturday afternoon, and after the Saints’ 4-1 loss to Tottenham last week, the Whites will be fancying their chances of winning this one.

Leeds got off to the best possible start against Wolves last week, winning 2-1 at Elland Road, and they could make it six points from a possible six with a victory here.

Things seemingly aren’t going well at Southampton at the moment, their transfer business hasn’t been the most convincing while reports have emered this week that Ralph Hasenhuttl has lost the trust of some at St Mary’s.

Despite Southampton being in turmoil, this still won’t be an easy game for Leeds, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Whites’ starting XI for this one.

Leeds' predicted Xi vs Wolves

As the old saying goes, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

This XI had enough to get past Wolves last weekend, and we’re expecting Jesse Marsch to field the exact same team against Southampton.

To a man, Leeds were fantastic last week, and it would be foolish to break up a side that performed so brilliantly just one week ago.

However, there are bound to be some changes on the bench.

Indeed, with Adam Forshaw and Luis Sinisterra back from injury, expect those two to start on the bench, and don’t be too shocked if Sinisterra comes off the bench to make his debut here.

Daniel James is also back from suspension, and while he doesn’t slot straight into our starting XI, he’s likely to make his first appearance of the season here.

A repeat performance of what we saw last week should certainly be enough to get Leeds over the line here.
