Leeds United star Rodrigo has praised Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa for the signings that they have made in the summer transfer window so far, as quoted in AS.
Rodrigo, who can operate as an attacking midfielder, winger or striker, believes that Tottenham are building a good team.
The Leeds star has also noted that Villa have signed two brilliant players in Diego Carlos and Philippe Coutinho.
Former Liverpool star Coutinho, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, made his loan deal from Barcelona to Villa permanent this summer.
Brazilian defender Carlos moved to Villa from Sevilla in the summer transfer window.
Yves Bissouma and Ivan Perisic are among the players Tottenham have signed this summer.

Rodrigo on Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa signings
Rodrigo told AS: “You see Aston Villa with Coutinho and Diego Carlos, Tottenham making a good team, Leeds themselves, who has spent more than a hundred million in two years since promotion.
“Nottingham Forest, who have just been promoted, sign Lingard… That’s what makes the Premier League beautiful, attractive.”
Competitive
In our opinion, the Premier League is hugely competitive, and the signings made by Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Nottingham Forest show that.
All the teams in the Premier League are hugely ambitious and want to strengthen themselves.
The Premier League is the richest and most-watched domestic league in the world, and all the clubs want to be progressive and continue to build on their previous success.
