Inter Milan are closing in on Tottenham Hotspur-linked Rodrigo De Paul.

According to SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla, Inter Milan have agreed to pay a huge €35million (£30million) to sign Udinese playmaker Rodrigo De Paul at the end of the season.
De Paul, 24, first emerged with Racing Club in his native Argentina, and after a disappointing stint with Valencia, he made his move to Udinese in 2016.
This term, De Paul has picked up six goals and three assists in 19 Serie A appearances, and his form has seen him pick up three international caps for Argentina.
His undoubted talent has attracted interest, with Tuttomercatoweb recently reporting that Tottenham Hotspur were eyeing a summer move for De Paul to bolster Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
However, De Paul seemingly won’t be linking up with his fellow Argentine, as SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla claims a deal with Inter is all set to go through.
It’s claimed that Udinese want €35million (£30million) for De Paul, and Inter have agreed to pay most of that up front, with a small portion in add-ons for a summer move.

It’s added that a deal was rushed through on Wednesday in order to stop other clubs swooping in, with Inter seemingly acting quickly after those Spurs rumours emerged.
Tottenham fans are unlikely to be too disappointed though; they have a number of attacking midfield players already, and just days after the rumours about a move emerged, they seem to have been put to bed already.
